Aix-en-Provence is a bustling market and university town in the South of France. There is a wealth of museums, restaurants and shops just waiting to be explored.
As your private English speaking guide I can customise your shopping tour to your requirements. Aix has a selection of big name stores as well as lots of smaller, interesting boutiques and interiors shops. I will also give you restaurant recommendations for your stay in Aix (pronounced 'x'), and tips on visits to the surrounding area.
Whether you are interested in fashion, accessories, jewellery, vintage, art, books or decorative household items Aix has a lot to offer. We can visit the best shops for beautiful Provence linens and fabrics, soaps and pottery. Tours can be organised on a one-to-one basis or for a small group of friends. Tours are conducted in English.
"We had two days in Aix-en-Provence and high expectations for successful sightseeing and shopping. As with any city, it wasn't as easy to find what we wanted as we had hoped. On our second day, we called Rebecca for a "guided tour." Not only did we get to see everything we wanted to, but we bought some antique dishes from a dealer that we would have never found on our own. Rebecca knows her way around Aix-en-Provence like the resident that she is. She is also a pleasure to be with. We'll call her again on our next trip to Provence! Thanks again Rebecca! Jill and Brian Day, Sudbury, MA, USA"
